OPERATION SLIM JIM

Progress still slow but steady. Managed to stay under 67kg all week, still need to lose 6kg.

This week I have been drinking hot lemon water morning and night and  2 litres of water a day.

OPERATION SLIM JIM

Finally , started to lose some weight. Might only be a little bit but at least it’s going down.  Still along way to go but my body seems to be responding slower than I expected compared to last year when I first started my life style change.

Operation Slim Jim (UPDATE) – 11 Oct 2012

OPERATION SLIM JIM

No changes to post today. Still FAT!  Tried to eat less junk and eat more healthy food including heaps of water.

Had some pizza mid week when friends came over.  Played footy in the park with the kids and did some skipping with my new rope also went for many energetic walks with the wife and kids after work.

Even though I did not lose or gain any weight this past week, I do still feel healthy and more energetic.  Maybe as I  approach my 50’s the old body just refuses to adjust.  Oh well I’m not giving up now; summer is nearly here and I gotta get in shape so I can fit into my red speedo’s!!

Operation Slim Jim (UPDATE) – 01 Oct 2012

OPERATION SLIM JIM

Well, it’s the first day of October and I have had a week off with the kids on school holidays.

The diet was on hold during the week so I could enjoy the food the kids love, like McDonalds, Chips, Pizza etc, etc.

So at the end of my holiday week I did put on a bit more weight but I also exercised a lot more and took up skipping! Had some nice walks and did try hard not to over do the sweets and sugar.

Weighed in day today.  Gained weight; what that!!.

Though I had been good all week; eating healthy food , going for 30 minute brisk walks and what do I get….more bloody weight!

Oh well. I know I want to lose weight but my body doesn’t. Will just have to try harder.

1x Nandos ¼ Chicken & Chips/rice with Coke Zero and small chocolate desert

(Note: Felt sick after dinner and next morning. Is my body rejecting junk food?)

Operation Slim Jim – 05 Sep 2012

OPERATION SLIM JIM – 2012

Summer time is almost here; well in a few months anyway.   However, spring is here and it’s time to lose that winter flab gained during my hibernation period.

I usually hibernate during the winter and tend not to take many photographs as it’s just way too cold!   After losing 15 Kilograms the previous year, I put on 3 Kilos over the winter.

Well it is time to take action!   As of today (05 September 2012); “Operation Slim Jim” is in effect.

I will document my weight loss in the lead up to summer and if anyone is interested you can follow my progress right here.   My goal is to lose some weight and get more energetic so I am ready to snap away with my camera over the summer holidays.

Weigh in times will be in the AM on each Saturday so if your interested check back on a regular basis.
